Julian connects most with the archaic roots of acupuncture and Chinese medicine originating as a shamanic art. This translates to addressing the physical body, the psycho-somatic (emotional), and spiritual aspects of a person which require healing.
Julian prefers a treatment strategy which addresses a combination of the physical, emotional, and energetic complexities of an individual, as well as empowers them in ascension on the path they have walked thus far. He views acupuncture as an initiative catalyst for a larger healing process and a pillar of support for already existing processes in play.
He has a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. He is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and holds a state recognized certification in clean needle technique through the NCCAOM. As an intern he completed an offsite clinic shift at housing works in Brooklyn New York, providing acupuncture to HIV positive low income individuals, as well as those in recovery from addictions, and living in homeless shelters.
